Hello,
I have a strange pain in my chest and I would like it to be checked by a doctor.
Please recommend me, in Wroclaw, a student clinic or a practice which has a contract with NFZ, where i could get a free consult.

Thanks,
Alexandra

Do you pay ZUS? If not, you're going to have to pay for the consultation.

Personally I'd sign up for Medicover, wait a couple of weeks and then get the check-up.

You are from Romania then get your European health insurance card , it is free and you ll get free medical consultation if you cannot afford private ones.

Hi, Alex - you have to register with medical center before you can have an appoinment with a doctor here - it can prove not so easy - many medical centres (they are not hospitals) don't register new patients - if you are a student then there was a student medical centre on the square behind the cathedral (the square with John Paul's II memorial) - it's plac Katedralny I guess - maybe it still is a student medical centre but I don't know now - it's been years

it's a hole in the ground now. demolished a year or two ago.

best to ask someone at university.

there is also a student medical centre on the ground floor of one of those twin big university dormitories - Kredka and Ołówek - where ulica Sienkiewicza and Plac Grunwaldzki meet

Emergency department at a local public hospital is also an option and it should not be too pricey.

i think it's more complex than that. emergency in wroclaw is on Traugutta. the first thing they will ask for is documents/PESEL

best to get the documents sorted first.

Ask in dean's office in your high school. As far as I know the Technical University (Politechnika) has/had (I'm not a student from years) some health centre on Wittiga street, No. 8.

Shouldn't be a problem - she's a student, and so automatically covered by ZUS. She'll only need to take her student ID card and ID document, nothing more.

Right, the university pays ZUS for every of its student.
