Men, where would you have your affordable haircut in/near Warsaw Central or Krakow Main ?

Back where I come from, a simple haircut goes for around CHF25 ie about 90 PLN!

I am scheduled to soon visit both Warsaw ( on a Friday noon ) and Krakow ( on a Saturday ), and am thinking of getting my hair cut whilst over there. It ought to be much cheaper, around 25 PLN is my guess but I could be wrong.

Can anyone out there suggest a convenient place to drop in and have a cheap and quick haircut in either of those places ?

Many thanks in advance.

On Cracow life .com you have a business directory( under the section hair&Beauty) with a list of hairdresser's + their prices.

http://www.cracow-life.com/search/list.php
Some of" the salons "5 Jean Louis David etc) when they are a franchise or hip are the same price anywhere in Europe and quite expensive.

Dry cut or wash and then cut? Women or men cutting the hair?

Do any of them cut hair like you would cut a hedge?

A man 's haircut at this price?
This is more expensive than in Paris or London.

For 116 zl did they make you look like Brad Pitt?

Exactly! I pay the equivalent of 28,70 PLN (at today's rates) over here - and that's after saying "keep the change"! :)

She was an attractive hairdresser and spent a good half hour for a soothing head massage as well!

wash... dye... head massage... how gay is that??

Isn't a "#1 back and sides" good enough for you, like 99% of Polish men? ;) lol

Still, it could be worse... at least you won't have a cabbie's haircut! haha
