Within the next couple of months I will need a large van or even a 7.5 tonner to take my furniture etc From Yorkshire to the Krakow area.

Does anyone know of someone that provides this service?

Hello

Have a look at Yellow pages. There some companies advertise "light haulage".
I got a quote once, it was about £3000 for 3.5 t van from Poland from Leeds.
Good luck

If you go on ALLEGRO.PL which is equivalent to ebay, there are van hires at aprox. 500pounds one way.

Can't recommend him enough too - he drove from Poland to Aberdeen, in terrible weather conditions, arrived within an hour of when he said he would be there (and given the snow, this was amazing!) and took stuff from the UK to Poznan with no fuss whatsoever.

Really cannot recommend him enough - a great guy and thoroughly great to deal with.

Thanks I will give him a try.

I've had a quote of £1300 so far from a guy in the UK using a LWB Merc sprinter, this seems a bit pricey to me. Any other suggestions?

Definitely on the high side, you can often find Poles needing backloads to Poland willing to do it for as little as 500 quid, especially if you're flexible with departure date.

Transport to UK from Krakow area

I'm driving to the UK from the Krakow area, leaving on Fri 28th, I will have room for quite a lot of stuff.

If anyone wants anything moving to England for a very reasonable rate let me know.

I can't take pallets, but big boxes, bikes, small items of furniture etc would be fine.

I will be making the return journey on Tuesday 1st June, will have less room available but should still be able to fit a bit more in if you have anything that needs bringing to Poland.

I'll be in the Liverpool and Leeds areas, but travelling from and to Dover so anywhere on that route would be OK

On the return journey there won't be so much room for big boxes and no spare seats either, sorry.
