I need to transpost boxes of books and some furniture from Glasgow to Gdansk

I'll be moving over to Gdansk in a couple of months and need to move quite a few boxes (of books and clothes) and a large wooden chair. I've approached normally shipping companies, but at the prices they are quoting I'd be better of just buying everything over there.

I was wondering if anyone knew of someone or transport or haulage firm that has an empty 'back load' going from Glasgow (city centre) to Gdansk (actually Gdynia) that would be prepared to negotiate a price for taking some or part of the load back to Gdansk?

Any advice appreciated.

Brat Boy will probably do me for this as i lost the Champions league bet but its for a good cause and i tried to PM you first but your PM is full so wont take anymore.

Excuses out of the way try Grzegorz on 667585730, hes to and from all over the UK to all over Poland almost every week, he very reasonably priced, 100% trustworthy and a hell of a nice guy. I do have his UK mobile too but i cant find it right now, he speaks English.
