Hi all,

I am looking for a self storage facility in Krakow to store some furniture. I am moving out of my apartment and move into my girlfriends. I want to store my furniture so we can take our time with what we keep and what we will sell, or even keep everything if we move into an bigger apartment.

I am from holland myself and we have plenty of this facilities. I found one in Warsaw but couldn't find any in around Krakow. Thanks for the help!

Welcome to trying to get information in Poland ;) "I am sure there is but I don't know where it is" Then how are you sure there is? Jesus.

I don't know anyone living there now to ask. I think Nika on this forum said today she was in Krakow. Might ask her.

I'd suggest asking someone who speaks Polish to contact euromax. The posted link goes straight to the storage page.

Merged: storage facilities around Krakow?

Desperate situation - need help

Does anyone know of any storage facilities in or around Krakow?
I have a flat full of furniture, but need to do some serious building work including knocking walls down, building new walls, new electrics, central heating, new floors and need to completely empty the flat and put all the furniture in storage.

I have asked and people tell me that others just put the furniture in the middle of the room and manage around it - however, I do not have the room to do and neither can I put all the furniture in one room.

Is there a trucking company or freight forwarders near you....?

If they don,t have storage places they will probably know somebody who does...?

The links you gave are only for Warsaw not any other city in Poland
However, after some searching I have managed to find something myself which maybe of use to others as well.
I can give links - but I have not been in touch with these companies so cannot say how it all operates.

Any other options found? I have contacted several places, I even visisted euromax, it's a big dusty warehouse with no separate, secure space for your belongings. I also replied to some gumtree adds for apt with piwnica, and offered to rent the cellar to store my things, but they won't even respond (polish or english)
