I'm considering going back to Poland later this year and I need some information about qualifications needed to teach. Now, a little bit of the background information: I'm Polish (hometown-Krakow), I've been living in the UK for almost 8 years now. I also graduated from a university, subject: English Language Studies. Currently I'm working as Learning Support Assistant in the local college (1,5 years of experience). Are there any other qualifications I would need to achieve to teach (in a school or as a private, one to one tutor)? I would be grateful for any help given :)

You must have at least the basics: CELTA, DELTA. It is possible to get those in the UK, but if not, in Krakow. Search on the web for information. Look also on 'dave's esl cafe' to give you an idea of what is currently happening in the teaching market. It is SATURATED in Krakow.
