I think it will still be more attractive to immigrate to Western Europe.

seriously, it gets really old listening to Poles complain about their country being unrecognizable. Because no Pole has ever immigrated anywhere in the world.
Or it is only acceptable for Poles to immigrate and not the other way around.
My daughters best friend is Vietnamese, or rather is Polish Vietnamese. She was born in Warsaw, speaks Polish, Vietnamese, English and some French. Her parents work hard and make enough money to send her to private school. The contribute to society, pay taxes etc etc.
Enough with the Poland for Poles s**t. It is so ignorant.

Keep in mind Pip that the people here who say Poland for Poles have quit Poland or are not Polish at all. They would prefer to keep Polish in Poland suppressed.
Maybe Ed can explain why he does not want Vietnamese in a country where he himself is an immigrant.

oh, and this of course is my absolute favourite. Poles that don't want immigration to Poland--yet they live in a country besides their birth country.

The funny thing is that the local kebab place or asian food restaurant has a line up around the block.

What a surprise - the silence is deafening.

Something really should be done about these non-registered foreign chancers here.

sajid, what is your interest in Poland?? the culture is so different between these two countries, I don't think people coming from Asian countries etc will benefit Poland...

A Polish residency permit does not give you the right to live or work in Norway.

With your polish residence card you can go to Norway. Once your Polish spouse gets work and registers there you can apply for residence on the same grounds and you can be eligible for residence card in Norway.

Actually - the Polish residence card only allows you to enter for 3 months.

And the law is quite clear - you can only obtain the Norwegian residence permit if the EEA family member has a full time, permanent job there. The "permanent" part is likely to trip you up - the Norwegians don't tend to give permanent work contracts to short term workers.

Once Polish Spouse gets right to live and work in Norway then Non-EU spouse will be eligible for the same.

No, it doesn't work like that. The "right" is only extended once the spouse has actually found permanent work - and EEA citizens only have the right to look for work for 6 months upon arrival. After that - bye bye.

One cant get permanent job from the day one, Which means person has to find work and continue working for minimum 6 months depending upon the company's policy. Non-EU spouse cant be living far and waiting for EU spouse to get permanent it is quite insensible.

Bye Bye :) EEA member can go anytime when they want and look again for work. No one gonna stay for 6 months without job unless is very rich or has some sponsor.

That's how it works, and it doesn't matter if it isn't sensible. The law in Norway makes it clear - you must have a permanent job to apply for a residence permit as an EEA citizen, and you only have 6 months to find the job.

Exactly. Hence why the non-EEA family member only has 3 months access with a Polish Karta Pobytu.
