Paddy: Greetings From Ireland!

Hi everyone,

Just a few words to introduce myself. My name is Paddy and (as the name might suggest) I am from Ireland.

I hope to someday visit Poland as I have some friends there, in the Poznan area. I found this site/forum while doing some research and boy am I glad as I am learning much about Poland, its people and its culture.

I want to eventually learn the language fluently, I speak a few words as it is but unfortunately nothing too elaborate.

I am a musician, married with five (5!) kids. I live near a town called Thurles in Co. Tipperary.

That's about it, except to say I am looking forward to meeting new friends and learning more about the wonderful country of Poland.

There's lots of information here, but of course, if there is anything you want to know and you can't find it then ask, the helpful people of PF will do what they can :)

Lot of language help here as well, we've a large language section :)

My kids are young, our eldest is 14 but our youngest is just 20 months! Yes, they too love Poland and can even point to Poznan on the map ;d
