Pay as you go SIM - best option ?

I picked up a pay-as-you-go SIM with 'Plus' - starter pack for 9 zl. ...ok until it 'locked' after 10 days, and I found out that top-ups are needed monthly for 30 zl each month.

Any other networks which have starter packs or similar (e.g. Orange ?) which don't have this same 'limitation' on pay-as-you go ?

Cheers.

What do you mean by "locked" after 10 days?

From memory, the Orange/POP pay as you go credit is valid for up to 120 days if you buy 100PLN or 150PLN worth of credit

... 'locked' - couldn't send/receive any SMS or make/receive calls. I've seen the Orange 'Go' starter pack for 9 zl but don't want to switch networks and have the same problem of limited credit duration ('Plus GSM Play' - starter pack credit duration is 10 days, and further 30 zl credit lasts 30 days so I need to add minimum credit of 30 zl every month...)

i've had Orange Go! for the last 11 months. 25zl is good for 30 days. I've never had it lock on me. I've run out of credit a few times too.

Need an opinion..
Which network is the best?
I'm using Orange and heard people claimed that Heyah is better?
Is Orange more expensive?

I don't understand Polish..it makes things difficult because I couldn't understand what it is saying in the booklet

Orange is fine. You have to buy a 100zl top up every 150 days, which is hardly a problem.

I have Orange as well - I pay 50 zł and get 3 months of calling activity. But it also allows me an entire YEAR of receiving calls, so no lockout for 12 months (even if I have zero balance).

A great feature: my girlfriend has a contract with Orange and can select three favorite numbers to call for no charge. One of the three can even be an Orange SIM subscriber, so she registered my mobile number and now calls and texts me for free!

krakow:

and I got free 25zl credit for topping up with 25zl?.

If you've previously bought lower top-ups (worth it sometimes), they can give you promotions like that to encourage spending.
