Ha!

Radom is just one of those God-forsaken places.
I drive through there on the way to my in-laws in Zwolen.

1976 was the key year for Radom - they had an anti-Communist riot and ever since all investment for the area went to Kielce instead.

Radom is a good place to leave! I pity you.

Was it due to economy crisis?

Throughout the history, Radom has been controlled by different countries of Europe rather than Poland itself or has been an arena for international players. There have been many old factories over there?

That is not true. Radom was not Polish between 1795-1809 and 1815-1918 that is when Poland did not exist at all. For the rest of time since the state of Poland was established (966), Radom has been within its borders.

I was in Radom once, it was a bit Random and I can't remember much except it looked like a place that needed a little bit of love from the rest of Poland. Lublin is not that far from Radom!

Sorry, but if anything depresses me about Poland's stereotypical gowno hole it is Radom, come to Puławy, as it has a far classer gowno floating past the banks of the Wisła deposited from the untreated waste from Kazimierz Dolny.

Don't you just love the modernisation in Poland!!!

I was in Radom, land of the zbiry - the only good thing in that place was the cinema, I'm living in Piaseczno, 2 hours away on train though.
