hello my names Gilly i'm from scotland iv been living in warsaw for 7 months i do know people here but they sometimes travelling outside warsaw and most have families ect so looking for some more friends to hang out with mabye have a few drinks or something let me know if anyone is intrested in meeting up :) Regards Gill :)))

Hello ladies,

There is a social group of expats that meet twice a month at someone's home. If you are looking for spontaneous meetings, a bar is definitely better - but the results of actually making friends rather than gathering regualr barflies is the trade off. Our group is gathered around an activity rather than a bar bill.

There are other activities: running, IWG, etc. My group are role-players. We enjoy literature, films and theatre. We play different scenarios together based on themes in fiction (or non-fiction). One person presents the scenario and the players work together in-character at the table to imagine themselves resolving the story. It's great fun. We get to know people at the game table rather than through a bunch of the usual tired resumes. It's a snap to learn and we have BBQs, movie nights and casual meeting on the side.

The difference is, we know the people we plan to go out with. It's not the same thing after all. You're welcome to get in touch with me (just PM me) if you want to join us.
