So it's more like grog (there's vodka instead of whiskey). Thx :)

Grog is a mix of vodka (or rum), hot water, lemon juice and sugar. And you're right, it's a cheap drink but also strong and hot and that's why it's very popular here.
But the thing is when you tell the bartender how to prepare your hot whiskey, you will get it :)

whiskey, hot water, sugar and lemon with cloves.

sounds like it's good, although I'm not a big fan of whiskey.
And please be careful with the wyglądasz super i masz ładny tyłek - use it only for the missus you know very well, other missus can be offended.

You would be surprised, the whisky taste is not as pronounced as you would expect, infact the lemon and the honey almost overpower it and you get a very pleasant winter warmer.

I'm sure it is very pleasant! It makes me think of our grzaniec. Where can you get it in K-kow? Just any bar or only the Irish ones?

All,

great stuff showing the interest in gaa in Poland! If ye need any help or advice setting up a club, get in touch with me as I'm European County Board Club development officer: developmentofficer.europe@gaa.ie

As mentioned, there is a club up and running in Warsaw and if ye think there is any potential for clubs in other cities as well, let us know. Even if you don't have the numbers, in other parts of Europe two or more clubs will often join up to field a team for the pan-european championships.

Check out the European GAA website (can't post link due to spam control apparently).

All the best,

Kevin.
