Cześć!

My name's Disa, I'm 20 years old and from Sweden. I've been living here in Krakow since february and I'm studying polish at the UJ. Polish is a huge passion of mine and I adore the people. Of course I'd love to have some polish friends but any other people from across the globe is awesome too! I'm open minded, happy, positive, creative, full of energy, smart, beautiful, funny, happy-go lucky always got something going on, ambitious, up to crazy adventures and a really nice person in general. Anyone feel like having some fun?

Looking forward to hear from you guys!
Cheers!

Hejsan, Disa! Valkomna hit!

Varifraan kommer ditt lidenskap till polska spraaket i kulturen? Where does this passion for things Polish come from?

I myself spent a longer time in Sweden than Poland, but also love the language as well the culture of Chopin, Mickiewicz plus so many others. Dobrej zabawy w Krakowie-:))

Cześć!
Welcome to PF, love self portrait on your link, too bad I’m not 10 years younger. Enjoy your stay in Poland, hope I could say the same about this site but let’s face it, it’s just brutal here. Who knows, more people with your outlook on life and things might change for better.

That would be quite scary if it turned out it's actually her...

1.5 hours to put a face on an anonymous poster...

Scary.

Edit: Take it back, just noticed she posted her facebook too :-)

Anyway, hello Disa, hope You'll like PF. I personally find the place strangely addicting.

Cute isn’t she? Somehow I still prefer her self-portrait on deviantart, she looks so mysterious and lovely.

Yup, she's cute and she probably knows that too :-)

But let's not elaborate on that, or her portrait, too much because we'll scare her off :-)

Yup, that's my video.
But it isn't all about how cute I am right? I wanna make friends! Not more admirers, I have lots already ;)

Your English is not bad, Tisa. Have you ever visited the States or perhaps the UK? When I was in Sweden, although I spoke Swedish, I found many young Swedes keen to practice their English conversation (......albeit far less keen to accept some [tactful] correction-:)) LOL). I visited Goteborg and Boraas! When are you going to Kraków? Only curious. Jag ar bara nyficken.

Sorry there Tisa, stupid of me. You're already in Poland.

How sillyllol

Mm, yes, that was a little stupid, but that's okay :p

Thanks! Language has always been by strongest side. I guess we speak so good english in sweden just cause we've got so many american programs and serials on tv. We don't dub like in germany or have a lektor like here in poland, we have subtitles. So I guess there's the answer. We just listen and read :) I've been to both UK and USA but not long enough for it to influence my english.

What part of the States did you visit?

"..stupid, but that's okay: p"

Tacka-:))

"Language has always been my strongest side.."

Mener du kanske "...my strong suit...." ?? Good try though. English idioms take a while to get the hang of LOL Practice makes perfect 'Ćwiczenie czyni mistrza!'

"I guess we speak [such] good [E]nglish in [S]weden [simply BEcause]...." I see you text a lot in English too.

Whoaa! I never agreed with that, now. The compliment was directed at you in this case! In fact, some Swedes whom I'd met spoke atrocious (fruktansvard) English, yet LOVED speaking it a mile-a-minute. Let's not generalize-:)

I found Swedish a relatively easy language to learn as well as quite useful when people got tired of speaking in English and would typically lapse back in Swedish.

Oh, next "stupid" question; where are you from in Sweden, Thisa? (Or is that too personal?)

I love New York and Florida (Miami) but Washington eww, nothing there except the monuments. How do you like Krakow so far?

No it’s not, but it sure helps to open doors and make a positive first impression. :)

Of that I’m sure, indeed. I myself would prefer not to be a number on someone’s list be it admirer or something even more sinister then that ;) I hope you didn’t get the wrong impression, so let’s start over, shall we? Cześć Thisa, I’m SHT and friends it is.

Skąd to zainteresowanie naszą mową ojczystą - jeśli można zapytać? :) Just curious.

Never responded to yesterday's post-:)

Ever visited Boston, Mass? Probably a bit too "European" for you, i.e. "boring", since it has a more staid, reserved quality than, say, Vegas, LA or NY LOL

I've never visited your capital, but my Swedish professor came from Malaran, near Stockholm-:) So many foreign friends of mine studied in Sweden, usually in Lund.

As usually I watched some useless videos after watching yours, and look what I found: the Swedish stole Izabela Skorupko!

During the 60's, the svelt and sexy Gunilla Knudsson could be seen as well as heard everywhere over American TV saying in an decided accent "Take it off, take it ALL off,... with Noxema Medicated Shave." Used to drive men wild. Today, it's probably 'Granny Gunna' LOL
