How to make friends in Gdansk, Poland?

hey I have just arrived in Gdansk on 11th May and living in one of the student dormitories of Poltechnika Gdanska at Narutowicza street .......and am planning to visit the city and poland....it would have been much better if I had a friend to visit those places with.....Please help me with this!!

Narutowicza ... I work on Matejki (up the hill from doStudzienka). i'm the wrong generation for pub crawling and don't have the time anyway. however, if you're having a crisis let me know - once you register you can contact me by pm.
