I'm a 26 year old guy from the US. I was born and raised here, but both sides of my family are of Polish heritage.

I'm just looking for some Polish penpals to talk with and learn from. I don't speak any Polish (yet). But I'd love to learn some basics.

Honestly, I was never big letter writer. I met some people on my last trip that don't have internet access, and it's really neat to get actual hand written letters. I actually look forward to opening my mailbox.

Im 22 also in the same position as Paz except I speak Polish though not at all fluently.
my 'tat' is from Poland and mom is first-generation Polish-American.

My mother speaks no polish at home and my father from time to time but i dont live with my father. I attend an American University with no Polish students or classes available.

I travel to Poland with my father every other year and stick out as an American because my language is so bad. I resided in Poland throughout my Pre-Kindergarten years and was brought up speaking fluent Polish until I came back and my parents separated. My accent is good but i cant speak even half of what i want to.

I want to practice my Polish but ....i need a penpal that will have the patience to help me out.

Lenka, will you be my penpal too?

I've always like to write letters. And the exciting time you have to wait until you get another :) Mails are soulless.

okay so theres this chick i know in poland who i really like and whether or not anything will happen, I just want to talk/chat with her on facebook while not making her translate stuff herself. I want to practice writing for myself too...so even in this age, its still beneficial to know how to write as well as speak.
hey at least i dont have to translate body language but im not with her now lol

Well I was actually referring to email penpals... but I would write letters as well.

An old family friend used to write to me everytime he travelled. He visited places across the world. It was always cool to receive an actual letter that came from wherever he was. Knowing that physical letter made the trip from around the world added some excitement to the process.

Thank you Lenka. I send you a message!
