everyone seems to think that we havent been together 2 years and couldnt possibly live together either.
when i was growing up, i never really had anyone foreign at school, only italians.(that was normal in england) but i didnt exactly think.yeh lets go and start a relationship with a polish, russian, etc. i fancied the pants off him and still do, i didnt know he could hardly speak english at that time and was polish...and he was scared of approaching me because of that to.at the end of the day...were all humans...
i was looking at another forum and some people can be soooo racist that it scares me.
thought id share that with you......thanx xxxxxxxx

Don't let other people get in the way. It isn't their life, its yours and his, so live it your way. After time goes by and a relationship builds, initial differences aren't so noticeable....it's the human being that you love that is important. :)

I was at a party on Saturday, drinkin my Polish wodka and red bull a little too quick (think it was about 5 in the space of 2hoursbut they were large shots) anyway, happened to mention i was learning Polish as someone else said they were learning French and that was it, i got a barrage of abuse from this bloke about the Polish coming over here and some other quite nasty stuff, then another bloke chipped in and gave his pennies worth. I felt quite scared and no one backed me up although other people were listening.
I left the party and drove home. Thank god i live in the countryside (no police).
Why are some people like that?
They made me feel as if i was doing something wrong by liking the Polish.

haneshka...
I know exactly what your saying, when I say that I'm trying to learn polish, most people ask why. Being a 6 foot 2, skinhead, that weighs about 17 1/2 stone, (and a slightly stroppy temper), I don't get a lot of hassle about it though. So that is probably the difference between us. My lady is also safely tucked away in Poland, so we see very little of each other. So no public hassle as yet?!?

My friends know that I am as soft as a ***** cat, but I like to play with the stereo-types, but I am never racist in a genuine way. Some jokes are funny, but they are just that... jokes. I have on many occasions decided to not join in some of the topics here, because I get soooo angry with the racism envolved.

I would have stopped him dead in his tracks.. first of all, the govt opend the doors
so you have nothing to do with why they came..

second of all. who taught him manners .. thats when you should have backed him
up and said I like what I like and you like what you like.. and put your face back in
his.. never, ever let someone abuse you openly.. whos party was it that they could
not control this freaks actions anyway?? I would have thrown him out on his butt
for starting a argument .. no matter what it was about. you dont talk to guest
derogatory or say things out of line.. why was the host not saying anything?

Too many ignorant people; no lives of their own so they are more bothered about what other people are doing !
