Hello,
I hope the Polish members here can help me settle an argument I have with my father. I regularly buy a Polish beer Zywiec from a Polish shop in my town in Gloucestershire and then have bought the same bottle from my local Tesco and the taste is totally different. Zywiec has a slightly tangy taste and when I bought the bottle from my local Polish shop the taste was different from the Tesco version. Please anyone who drinks this excellent Polish beer can they tell me if it is possible the tesco version is different to the Polish supplier I am convinced the taste is different. I have read on the back of the bottle and both seem to have the same information on them yet the Zywiec I buy from my Polish friend is much better and Tesco's is not very good
Thanks Richard

The taste of beer can be affected by light, length of storage, heat.

It's possible that in Tesco they simply kept It in ****** conditions - too warm and so on.

Yup. It sounds like it was chilled, warmed then chilled again. This really screws with beer.

The answer is easy- Tesco charge disgusting amounts for favorite tipple, once you have parted with half your days wage for one bottle it tends to taste like ****.
