What were officially acceptable methods of execution in Poland?
And what were most typical? Something like this was common?

Sienkiewicz claims that the Poles learned impalement from the Wallachians. The third book of the Trilogy contains a passage which narrates the inner-thoughts of a Tartar prince being exectuted in this manner.

Simply speaking, standard procedures.

The English or French methods were much more impressive.
