A Good Technical Library/Bookshop in Warsaw?

Hi all. I am a student of optics and (AMAZINGLY) the library at the university doesn't have any english books. I'm looking for fundamentals of photonics - by B.E.A Saleh....I tried the other library...there was only ONE copy of the book and it was issued for 3 months :(

Does someone know where I can buy technical scientific books ( I'm not sure Americal Bookstores carry them, or atleast not the ones that I went to )

Hi. Polish educational organizatons do not have money. So, it is difficult to find english technical book. I can understand what you feel here in Poland because my specialised field is also science:-)

I know two book shop in warsaw.

They are not online book-shop, so you can find some books at the shops. If you cannot find your favorite book, I recommend you to make use of Amazon.uk.

Anyway, how is your scientific work? Are you satisfied with your experimental circumstance?

Thanks for the links. I'll try them soon. Yes its extremely difficult to study here w/o books. But can't libraries buy books from ebay or something? My experimental stuff is going to start from January, I guess...Let's hope its a little better than the theoretical asspect of studies here :S
