al111: I would like to purchase a copy of an unused OEM Windows XP Professional English Version together with the product KEY (Sorry i'm not a Pirate) You can't. Windows XP sales ended on October 22, 2010.
Since you say you're not a pirate... if someone has a PC with an OEM licensed WinXP then you cannot legally use it on any other machine other than the one with which that copy of WinXP came, even if that machine was never turned on once. Some vendors used a gray area of the then definition of OEM by Microsoft you might find a copy somewhere but again, that would be kinda iffy in terms of legality. The thing was that OEM license stated that it is valid if sold with a non-peripheral piece of hardware. A $0.99 CD to motherboard sound wire is a non-peripheral piece of hardware.
Chirag: ms has indeed stopped support services for xp. with xp's licensing and sales terminated xp is dead. btw i never said updates for xp is dead. i have my facts right and you perceived them wrongly dude
Not quite correct. Mainstream support ended on April 14, 2009. Extended support is still available and it will be ended on April 8, 2014.
Microsoft's definition of "end of support":
End of support refers to the date when Microsoft no longer provides automatic fixes, updates, or online technical assistance. This is the time to make sure you have the latest available service pack installed. Without Microsoft support, you will no longer receive security updates that can help protect your PC from harmful viruses, spyware, and other malicious software that can steal your personal information. For more information go to Microsoft Support Lifecycle.
