I should imagine a bike like that would do very well on Ebay. Germany has ebay.de - to resolve the transapost costs.

What is the connection between you selling an old motorcycle and your fiancee in Russia?
By the way I thought she was living faraway from Moscow? I remember you talking two years ago about moving to Russia....

It means that nobody wanted to buy it, and nobody made an offer. Nobody said they would buy it for 40,000 zl, for example.

It is fascinating how the English language can comprise so many different ways of interpretation. So many shades, so many viariats. Incredible.

My friend Romek owns the old Harley...when he sells it , he gives me a pile of dosh for my farm....and i have the money to buy a decent car , a van , and can tootle off to Moscow , marry my lady , and have some dosh in the bank towards our house in the country....

So , i am doing all i can to help him sell it....

And he does not want to take any less than 50.000 zloty for it , which is a fair price for such a machine....

But this story is going around for ages. One day you are leaving immediately for Russia. Next day you will be entertaining guests on your farm like, forever.
By the way, how did you manage to buy a farm in Poland way back - given the stringent laws on purchase of agricultural land in Poland?

Probably, because he bought a house with a large garden, moreover he lives in a small village. Back in the day, there was always a way...

Forever...?

nooo ..the Danes just stayed with me a day or two....

and dont worry , i shall be off to Russia soon enough , its not easy moving to another country with all your possesions , especially when that country is Russia...

Most of the paperwork is done now , i am just hanging on a bit in the hope i can sell the farm before i go....rather than having to come back here again to sort it all out....

I find it entertaining... that you keep us posted...since ages...with your stories of your Russian lady....
Tell me... how did you manage to make a living here in Poland...with a farm...and as far as I know, from your postings... only knowing basic Polish?
