Do you watch poland basketball teams matchs? Yesterday they defeated China 83 - 66, Tomorrow they will play with Serbia. China was without Yao Ming. Will polonia join Spain 2007 Eurobasket? What do you want from team? Will they do something.

we play Eurobasket 2007 in Spain and also 2009 in Poland (as the host country), but our team is suffering from injuries/refusals
Marcin Gortat just signed an NBA contract and is scared to play in the national team, because he wants to fight for a place in the starting line-up of his new NBA team, so he has stayed in the USA.
another good player Maciej Lampe (Chimki Moskva, Russia, also short time in NBA) isn't playing either (I forgot why)
Micha³ Ignerski (Spanish League) got an injury recently
and there are even more absences

thank God, our grandpas are playing relatively good (Adam Wójcik is 37 yrs old, Andrzej Pluta is 33 yrs) and they scored 39 points against China

really Wojcik was great, i didnt know 2009 in Poland, you're great ya, because 2012 is Also in Poland and Ukraine, will final of 2012 be in Poland or Ukraine? I want to come Poland in 2009 then. Because i am a great Basketball fan. I had heard of Lampe, he is good i think. But the Polish Team should have to do everything to get over group. Your rivals are very good, France has Diaw, Italy without bargnani i think he wont come, slovenia is old story, you have chance but have to do everything. I hope you will defeat Italy and Slovenia to get over. Then you may have chance. Our group is easier but we will defeat the Czech R. but problem is Germany and Lithuania. We will defeat Lithuania , but may have problems with Germany and Nowitzki.

anyway, it's the first time since 1997 (also in Spain) that Poland plays Eurobasket, so we don't expect much

in 1997 they ranked at 7. place (out of 16 teams), beating Turkey in the last game. Wójcik was already a very important player for the team and Pluta was great during qualification to Euro, but in Spain he played badly

later our results were miserable:
in 2003 and 2005 Eurobasket qualifying games Poland was always ranked last in the group,

qualification to European Championship ME 2003, gruop D (coach Dariusz Szczubia³)
3 wins and 7 losses, 6., last place, behind France, Hungary, Latvia, Estonia and Bielorussia.

qualification to European Championship 2005, group D (coach Andrzej Kowalczyk)
1 win and 5 losses, 4., last place, behind France, Slovenia and Czech Republic

additional qualification to EC 2005, group A (coach Veselin Matic)
1 win and 3 losses

Division A relegation tournament (coach Veselin Matic)
0 wins and 2 losses (to Sweden 55:67 and to the Netherlands 76:96)

now the new coach, Slovenian, Andrej Urlep built a team again, but we're still far away from being dangerous for the top teams
