I regularly pay 1p each way for my flights. Once you've added the 20GBP tax and 20GBP baggage charge (wtf) that brings the cheapest flights I get to about 40GBP.

Nope. That would demand a degree of forward planning that I am quite unable to muster. It is, however, within my capabilities to plan a month or so ahead and that is normally sufficient if I am flexible in my travel dates within a day or so.

They did a special deal over one week where you did not pay tax on the ticket. It's worth checking the centralwings site on Mondays as that's when they usually kick in special deals. You have to move fast though, like a greased penguin on a banister!
