Poland in coming 5 years

I would like to know your comment about what do you think about where Poland would be in coming 5 years ?

in the middle Europe? haha :P

What I imagine is being asked here is, 'where do you think Poland will be on the World stage in five years time'.

I'm afraid Poland will have a massive hangover after lost organisation of Euro 2012. There will be accusations from each side, but of course no-one would admit the guilt.

Why can't we all just be happy with what we have

Thats true, its rather wise enough to be happy with what one had instead of just blaming all the time or wasting the time in thinking of the things which we don't have :)

I think being part of EU and now Schenghen Poland had a bright future ahead. We all know it takes some time to things to be change as it said " Rome was not built in a day" So inorder for changes to be appear we have to show patience.

Poland has come so far and even better than many of the countries surrounding it. I t will have its ups and downs like the rest of the global economy. However, the work ethic in poland will always keep it in a forward progression of strength. Only the politicians can slow it down!

If I have to be honest, that was my first thought as well... But we should be optimistic, I believe we can handle the pressure and prepare everything on good level. We are Polish! We can do everything : )
And a hangover? Naa, I wouldn't be afraid about 'Poland after Euro 2012'. All what can happen is that the country will be a bit more popular and... we will make good business.

No, this is simply not true. The other countries around Poland have done much better than Poland. The Czech Republic is now simply light years ahead of Poland and is a much smaller country too.

The bigger they are the harder they fall! It is better to become successful slower over time. The importance is that it must continue and only have minor set backs. This is where administration has room for improvement.

If it all goes well they might choose Poland or Ukraine to host the World Cup soon.

I doubt it will change much.... as for work ethic poland has one of the highest rates of alcoholism in all of europe and i doubt their work ethic is statistically much better. I'd love to c any evidence u have to support that claim! plz don't speculate b/c thats built on a slippery slope

I would say that Poland is on a good way. The problem of alcoholism will slowly change, too. Earlier we had in Middle and Western Europe also the problem of alcoholism. It changed. I'm sure that it will change in Poland too.

By this the mentality slowly changes also. I say that Poland will be in some years in that level where Germany, Switzerland, France etc. are now.

WFT, Binge drinking, drink related deaths and cost of treating alcoholic related problems has increased so Im not sure what planet you are on..

If the rights for workers will be better protected and the chiefs learn to look better for its stuff, then people will be more motivated, more satisfied. There'll be less reason for alcoholism. On that way Poland is. I heard of a law that chiefs can't do anymore what they want with its stuff, but that they can be punished. If that law comes, things will change. But also the mentality of chiefs will have to change. But I think that slowly it changes.

Furthermore we can pray for it.

I have looked into the crystal ball! Warsaw will have 20,000 coffee shops, KFC's, Pizza Huts and McDonalds, 568 Gino Rossi shops, 795 Zaras, 659 Esprit stores, 875 H&M. The financial area will be tall, very tall (tallest building 140 floors) but covering 100m2 of actual ground space. There will be neons featuring the names of the biggest UK law firms like 'Tosser, Ratsarse & Ripoff (est 1878). There will be fat blokes in suits (foreign) and thin girls in minis (Polish) but only in the financial district. Almost everywhere else will be deserted as the poor folk will have all gone to pastures new or deported to the sticks by the 'gmina' (apart from by the railway station where there will still be a few guys who smell of pish). I'm only reporting what I saw in the crystal ball!

Our friend Grzeg will be spending all his time on the Ukrainian Forums complaining about the influx of foreign workers unto Poland. He will use "NoImmigration" as a forum name.
"Our" PF Noimmigration will leave GB to find a job as a sewer line clener in Poland, but ironically this move will actually make him very happy and proud. He'll be very good at it and he'll finish his days in Poland, and they'll sing songs about him: "the best sewer cleaner ever".
