I assume it finished 2-0 for Poland? The "latest score" ticker I am using still has it at Half Time...

I won't underestimate them ;)
Germans got beat 3-0 by the Czechs at the end of the qualification, they're still among the favourites to win the Euro (even if their coach doesn't think so).

I'm not being pessimistic but realistic ;)
Boruc saved a penalty kick in the first half. What if he had not ? What if the result at half time was 2-1 for Poland...things may have been a bit different ;)
Football is not logical, Poland beat the Czech Republic today, but now let's concentrate on the really important games : against Germany, Croatia and even Austria (it would be a pity to lose to Austria, wouldn't it ?)

;)

ok Polson I am not going to argue. :P

we are in comfortable situation in game with Germans, they are favourite in this game, we can lost and nobody will be surprised. When we win ;) we will celebrate. I think it is very good approach.

When I read articles form German sport press they are bit nervous, you know Poland Germany and our true friendship. They write a lot about Leo and that we are stronger ;) they are very good tournament team but maybe this time we will kick them ;)

Jesze jeden, jesze jeden!

Or "Dziekujemy! Dziekujemy!" after Boruc made that penalty save.
God I love Polish fans!

Jelen fell out of Leo's favour when he showed up to some practices and earlier friendlies out of form. He hasn't been called up since. But look at Wichniarek coming back after such an absence. Anything is possible.

Just watched match's highlights, and particularly Boruc's great save (penalty kicked by Koller), seems it was a pleasant game ;) Wish the Euro will be as pleasant...for Poles of course, hehe.

Excellent result for Polska !! ......even though it was a friendly and by the end of the game I think Polska had made about 5 substitutions.

Both goals were well taken and if it had not been for a super save by Cech then Smolarek would have had a goal also.

Czech Rep pressed on in the second half, but our defence coped reasonably well with the pressure although Czech Rep did have opportunities to score. Baros & Koller are a good strikeforce and Polska did well to keep them to zero.

As the commentator kept repeating throughout the game ..... it's 4 months and 2 days till the real test ...... our opening match at Euro 2008.

Come on Polska ..... Biało Czerwoni !!!!

Weak defense in the first half, I think that B±k should be replaced by Jop in the first squad. Second half was much better in defense with him playing.

On other hand I think that Zurawski should not even be taken to Austria if he wont improve radically in near future. We did not exist in offense in second half. Hopefully Błaszczykowski will play instead Łobodziński, the latter was nothing special even if scored. A pity that Wichniarek played just one half, I would give him a chance to play whole game. Unfortunately Krzynówek seems to be out of his usual shape, the fact that he did not changed the club may cost us much in Austria.

In conclusion, good to see a victory over good team like Czech Republic, however out situation is not so good like one could think knowing just a result.

Czech Republic another team that underestimated Poland :):):):)

The game was quite pleasent to watch! Our "Eagles" made some good combinated actions like this one that preceded a second goal.
The strongest formation was defend. Żewłakow and B±k very confident, Bronowicki and Wasilewski solid as always.
And of course Artur Boruc! "Holie Goalie"!
