Poland one of the top spots for Investment

According to an article I read in the Warsaw Voice, Poland is 2nd to Germany and UK (tied) for foreign investors which is very promising for Poland.

Ermm... I certainly think you're not right. Germany is West-Central Europe, and Poland is Central.

That means nothing.....I live in the "midwest" USA, and if you are looking at a map, it looks like I live more east than "Midwest". Bloody hell, in the past there was sth different. Eh, in this point - my bad. But in the English one is my version!

But let we see... If we connect headlands like: Roca in Portugal, Cape Matapan, North Cape and central point of Ural mountains - we've got a cross that has a middle point in the Masovian Plain.
Moreover Poland lies in the Central European Time. It's not the main argument here ;-).

Daffy, it is your strong understanding that there is little difference between people per se, and nationality/culture that is such an asset to the forum. When someone says something racist, you are usually one of the first posters to "call it out", and redirect.

I know get get weary of repaeating yourself, time and time again, but I think it helps people to understand when you really spell it out with a case in point. And each time you do this, there are different people around, so your message isn't necessarily going down the drain.

I also admire Matyjasz for his cool, centered approach to those that insult and provoke. He is like someone sitting outside enjoying a drink, while some pesky gnat buzzes around his head. The gnat may be annoying, but it won't stop Maty from enjoying his drink. And if it gets too close, he'll just smile, and flick it away, and have another sip. :)

Some say that It is near Łódź, some others that in the Czech Republic, but officially this is... in Lithuania.

As for the Eastern European thing, I met a lot of westerners that think that Poles became Europeans just recently on the 1st may 2004... That we are some kind of “poor” cousins from the east, backward neighbors, etc... I say: very well than. I'm OK being an Eastern European. I fell more connected with Hungarians, Lithuanians, Slovakians, Czechs, etc than with French, Italians or Germans… I know where I’m coming from and I know where I’m going. I’m not going to pretend that I’m a westerner. Don’t feel the need to. :)
