China is growing and becoming a growing competiotion to the Western markets

It is the real reason why some people want to distort the facts in China. but I have to remind you, the US also consider a stable China is benefit to the world. the US regards a prosperous China as an oppotunity more than a threat!

And if they refuse the "friendship" you force it on them like in Tibet? Or is this not friendship but the "harmony"?

United States of America

That's 300 million people.

But Bush didn't post those words here. You did.

Do you always follow blindly what others tell you? No attempt to check if what they say really makes sense?

Well I was the very last generation of Tito's pionirs. We were as kids indoctrinated (read brainwashed) with that ideology that our highest responsibility is to protect the party. And then came along a white knight with a golden sword who ended communism and reawakened Serbian nationalism from our 40 year deathly slumber.

But the damn Judeo-Masons just as with Napoleon and Hitler before him, organized a wide coalition to destroy Milošević as with any country like Iraq which did not follow their path and allow their natural resources to be exploited by their multinational corporations. He warned that enemies within the state are joining forces with enemies abroad. He will not allow Serbia to become anyone's colony and that every battle we enter without fear. Only today we are seeing how right he was about NATO with the partitioning and occupation of a part of the country.

Positive nationalism and the Church is what kept Serbia alive.

I don't miss Nazi-Germany actually...you would probably see me spouting propaganda like our chicoms here or polishing boots (if I would not marching with them right now) if they had won.
(But the uniforms were grande I will give you that!)

Patriotism is good...but it's very easily abusable by the Hitlers or Milosevic's of this world and always blaming others for your misery get's you only so far...

So i think you can only return to the past and check what really happened...but the problems are nobody can return to the past...

Media I mentioned refer to TV,newspapers etc...Books I listed are books about history which written by serious scholars who made a lot of investigatations and reseachs...

Ofcouse, even Buddha said don't trust anyone and anything....
books are only materials and methods to help us to get more infomations...However nobody can form his/her opnion without any book or sth other...

I just listed some books for person who are interested in the topic...so just don't make a big issue about the relationship between media and book...

I for one endorse this statement (in the hope that you will fulfill its meaning in the end!)
By the way, while everyone with an inch of intellect will make sure to strengthen himself in the meantime (i.e. by either increasing his nuclear arsenal or fostering a million strong army of pedestrian kamikazes), there is no need to preach any more at a people who just want to push itself into a dominant position like the rest of those former empires. That is pretty much a human nature and if I, as an officially certified human, can bear to tolerate myself sometime, there is no reason or model that forbids me not tolerate Chinese stuffs as well. So Forza la Cina!

No pender,I think Bratwurst boy,and many of us are more concerned with what we see,or are shown of the huge differences between the prosperity of some people in your country and the huge numbers of people who still seem very, very poor economicaly.A far greater economic gap than we see here. Yes,no doubt there is a level of unease about the future but this has always been the case through out history. Its good that we are all having this dialogue, like I said in my post to you,it is far better to talk than fight.
lets keep it civil guys, this pender chap is a different sort to the people that were on here the other day :)

Look, the way I see it,none of us on this forum are the big men in charge,we've a chance to talk acroos cultures here and maybe all sides can learn something.
I really feel we are at a cross roads,we can either divide up into 2 armed camps, full of distrust and risk enough bloodshed to fill another ocean...ie copy the mistakes of the 20th century,or,we can try and work things out.Maybe our various leaders will do the deciding but we at least can say NO enough of that last century,we are not being manipulated by fear and missunderstanding ever again.
(can I have my UN merit badge now please)
