Yeah, i couldn't watch all the game, but it was not a big performance, but the result is okay, and the qualification is ours ;)

I'm sorry for Scotland PolskaDoll ! I watched the game, and i was disgusted...Italy is sooo lucky, what a pity for the Scots !

I didn't watch the game Polson, maybe I had a premonition :) but we did well considering no one really expected us to even have half a chance.

I'm really pleased Poland have qualified...so now I'm looking forward to the competition again :)

:)

Scotland played really well, Italy scored at the end of the game, when a foul (no foul for me !!!) gave the Italians a free kick. They scored. They are so lucky, it's really disgusting...

yup lets join the wave of support for the Polish team and the wave of disgust for the italian team.

I'm tired as well with itialians and how big headed they are about their football (they had lately more luck then brains - in my opinion)

Oh and some people over here might hate me for saying that! but I was realy hoping for Russia to doing well today as well. (gooooooo slavs)

ps. and yes there is a purpose why I dont use capital leters when writing "italian"

2000, we (France) beat them in final :) LoL

But at the World Cup 06, they should have lost against Australia in 1/8 final, the referee gave them a penalty kick (no foul though) at the very end of the game......you know the end, they won the final, even though they sucked.....

I find it enormously distressing that there are only 2 lucky European nations: France or Italy, so it is natural that at a certain time: this one's luck cancels the other's out!
If such country like Poland has the luck about one-tenth of the two above...

France is not that lucky...in the World Cup 06 final, France was really better than Italy, and they lost...

With all due respect, but I would like you to offer the above statement to the Spanish, Argentinians, Germans and even (gasp...) the English...
They assuredly have different idea!

Now I have a reason to

(1) look at the Euro 2008 matches next year
(2) wear my Poland jersey.........it looks very out of place in Trinidad

does Leo Beenhakker answers questions to journalists, before, or after a game ? If yes, in English ?...does he know some Polish now ?... ;)

I will pay particular attention to who gives the interviews during todays game :o)

At the end of the game Leo was interviewed in English by the Polish reporter, but this was interrupted when the Polish players came over and hoisted him above their shoulders and threw him up in the air !!
When it calmed down , and the interview continued it was in English.

During half-time Maciek Zurawski was interviewed and then after the game most of the players were interviewed also.

What a great evening ...... not a great performance, but a great result, unlike poor Scotland whose performance was heroic, but unfortunately luck was on Italians side.

Also England have a lot to be thankful for ..... all English supporters should find a synagogue tomorrow and pray thanks to the Israel team - qualification is back in their own hands.

Well done Polska ...... DZIEKUJEMY ... DZIEKUJEMY ..... DZIEKUJEMY !!!

Unfortunately the price for tickets for these competitions are beyond the pocket of most working class people. Expect to pay £300 or £400 for games in the earlier rounds, rising to £900 for semi- finals and £1000 to £1800 for the final. That's the prices already quoted for the Euro 2012 finals through ticket agents.

Wow...i know it was expensive, but not that expensive...

By the way, we will know all the groups on December, 2th 2007, at 12:30 (for those you were wondering)

Yeah expensive. I meant to say 2008 not 2012 lol. My mates and I checked this out several months ago, in the hope that England would qualify, and these were the prices quoted, also there is accommodation to pay for as well. What a rip off.

from the UEFA website it appears that people wanting tickets could register online - this was earleir this year, March/April 2007 - there would then be a lottery for tickets.

it also says that January 2008 is the next time tickets will become available, in a second lottery process - the draw for the EURO2008 takes place in December 2007, once all qualified teams are known.

Even though we didnt win I am still pleased with Scotlands performance. The referee made bad decisions for both teams.
Congratulations to Poland.
I wasn't able to see the Poland game, maybe try and see the highlights today.

I am too, the Scots didn't deserve to lose...

Yes, but it's going to be difficult to beat Spain, but i'd prefer Northern Ireland to win rather than Spain (as i was for Sweden...) And Sweden is going to qualify, i don't think they will lose their Wednesday match...

Hmm......the referee was not bad, but he made 2 big mistakes : he didn't give a penalty kick for Scotland in the first half, and he gave a free kick to Italy at the end of the game that gave the victory to them.

Congratulations to Poland.

It wasn't that great, but enough to qualify. Now a win in Serbia would be a good finish :)
