Congratulations to Croatia.
Did you see McLaren at the end of the game ? Down the tunnel before a single player came off the pitch. Speaks volumes.

I think tonight he will be staying in the same hotel as the guy that lost the Disks.

Two excellent games! The Poles were justly punished for their complacency but thanks to the Finns that they are still in Pole's position. The match between England vs Croatia is pearless with Croatia playing with paramount grace and precision. As long as wishfulness is concerned, the Euro Final match with Polska vs Croatia would be perfect in my book! Anyway, my bed beckons! (5 am!)

Firstly of course well done to Poland who have played very well throughout the whole qualification phase, i saw a lot of the Poland games and even some of them all the way through. I wish you good luck in the EUROS and now that England aren't there i shall join the Polish band wagon :)

However obviously i'm gutted about England and have just walked out and away from the pub, i have spoken to nobody on the way home, i simply cannot believe it :(:(:(:(

If the Finns had won, they would have qualified........Poland had many missing players, and did well in Serbia, a very good team.

Weird to think that England will not play the Euro.....I'm sorry for England, their defeat against Russia is the reason for me...

no no no no not for me mate, i'm affraid it was the Engaldn 0 - 0 FYRO Macedonia result that was where the 2 points were dropped at home. Nobody really wins in Russia and we did beat the same team at Wembley 3-0.

Are you Danish or Polish? sorry i can't remember and forgive my ignorance, if your Danish then you know how i'm feeling, if your Polish then your feeling something i'm not, lol

wow i'm looking at this list and still cannot believe there is no 'ENGLAND' or even 'SCOTLAND' who were cheated out of the final game, however like england there was a vital result that stopped them from qualifying, Georgia 2 - 0 Scotland.

However i can still stand with my head held high on this forum at least, as i said a long long time ago that MR Smolarek was your best player and i have been proved right :)

Watched both games ...... Serbia v Polska was more like a training match .... and the Polish commentators are enough to send an insomniac to sleep ! 2-2 , and with Portugal drawing with Finland means that Polska finishes top of their group :o)))
Polska has come a long way since that 3-1 defeat to Finland at home .

Let's go to Austria/Switzerland next year and put up a good performance .......

England v Croatia ..... what a game !!
Unfortunately I have to agree with Alan Hansen when he said that England got exactly what they deserved :o(

England had been given the chance to go through to the Euro Finals without having to rely on anyone else ..... they only had to draw the game , not win it !

Basically England blew it Big Time ! .... McLaren was never the right man for the job .... it will be interesting who gets the job once he is asked to resign ..... Mourinho ??

England not qualifying may be a good thing for English football ....make the old farts (Sir Trevor Brooking excluded) at FA Headquarters finally wake up and see that they aren't the powerhouse in World Football they would like to believe they are.

No. He's a good manager but he's not an "England" manager.

Congratulations to Croatia, Poland and France for qualifying for Euro 2008. I would like to see, one of you, going on and winning it.

Very disapointed with England, and at the end of the day, didn't deserve the rights to be there too. :(

Still, I will be able to watch the finals as a netural, and also look forward to seeing who, our new manager is going to be. :))

Poland played pretty good today - I was surprised Serbia didn't show much ambition today. I'm still not sure about Fabianski as the goalkeeper - the first goal sort of was his fault (he was too far from the goal). But the Polish defence didn't show off then too.

Some of the current England players could, in the future, be very good managers but they're not ready yet and some of those who are retiring are happier as commentators and pundits than coaching and managing.

When the England job comes up for grabs ..... how many Poles will apply for the job ?? :o))

Personally I'd like to see one of the tv pundits like Alan Hansen try the job - he seems to have all the answers and is quite knowledgeable on the game - there's already one Scot running the country, why not another running the football team ??

The baskets arent based on anything, there is still a draw on Dec 2nd which will decide the groups. Austria and Switzerland will be in seperate groups.

Guys I told you all that we Croats will win on Wembley. It should be 5-1.that penalty was robbery.

And English did big mistake again. If they only didn't talk before the match about their superiority,we wouldn't be so mad.we don't like russians you see,so englaand would be better for us to qualify.ah,but english prepotency...if you ask me,Israel should qualify along with Croatia, they shower bravery and pride like we didi too.

oh yes,THANK YOU POLAND FOR ELIMINATING SERBIA,CROATIA LOVES YOU!

LoL, Portugal draw against Finland was enough to eliminate Serbia...but i must say that i supported more Finland than Portugal.............Portuguese loud-mouthes....kept saying they would beat Poland 4-0, and Finland 5-0 at home......eventually they drawed Poland 2-2 and Finland 0-0, as well as Serbia 1-1............haha ;)
