The guy in Koluszki survived polar bear attack. The bear jumped on him while he was sleeping in his tent and he managed to get it off of him and shoot it . I wonder where he had his gun from. Anyway it should be a warning for all you tourists planning to visit Poland early spring.

Polar bears are scary! Especially b/c they are too big to kill with a small caliber weapon.

I've always understood that the Brown Footed Mazurian Bear is far more dangerous than the pure white bear.
The Brown Footed has a habit of catching sailors and overturning boats on the lakes, in summer.

Don,t shoot the bears.......if you are going to bear country there are things you can do to avoid becoming a bears dinner....most bear attacks occur because some muppet has got too close to one , or attracted it by leaving food near a campsite.....Killing them should be the last resort......

Poznań has the best nude beach, but it is reserved for rude, crude, nude bears.
