Topic attached on merging: Language Exchange in Warsaw - You can improve your English for free
I'm a middle-aged man, who next week will arrive in Warsaw to start teaching at one of the international schools in the city.
It's always nice to make an effort to learn the language of the country you're staying in, but from the books I've got, the pronounciation of this one seems very difficult! I will be living just south of the centre of Warsaw ... and would like to meet up with a native speaker to hear how the language is actually said. I have no preferences over the gender of my "teacher" and do not need an actual Polish Language teacher, because I have grammar books to explain all that. All I want from you is to go through certain dialogues with me ... and yes, I have books with plenty of useful dialogues in them.
In return we can set aside an equal amount of time for you to practise and hopefully improve your English.
I suggest that the location for these Language-Exchange-Lessons is at least at first in a cafe.
If you're interested, then e-mail me on garybrianevans@yahoo.co.uk
By the way, I'm not interested in exchange lessons over the internet.
