And there is a difference between us. You choose tyrannical autocrat to think for you. We Poles think ourselves. Ask cuban people why are they dying on their way to US.

You asked the question and I answered it. You were unable to answer my simple question. I asked you to pick one of two. I know both stink but pick. Did you have the same problems in school with multiple choice tests?

hmmm...are you sure about your choice ? Economy was better in Batista´s regime. They are still using the same cars in Cuba as they were in Batista´s time cause they can´t afford better

Economy was better in Batista´s regime.

The poor could not read, write, have access to health care, received orders from the Americans, were a vassal state, horrid infant mortality rate, etc. The economy was better for Batista's cronies, gangsters like Myer Lansky and other sellouts.

Now answer my question. As for constipation or diarrhea, I choose diarrhea. The blockage caused from constipation is worse than the runs caused from diarrhea. If I can opine about two evils, why is it difficult for you to do the same?

during the last major Irish rebellion we had a slogan

we serve neither king nor kasier, but ireland

It is the very attitude echoed by many Polish here they would rather die fighting for freedom then to suffer a tyrant that I feel makes the cultures get on that bit better than most.

Bono for eg did alot in the area of Polish Solidarity and Peace in Ireland (raising awareness) IN fact the VERY empire that he grew up, like most irish (indoctrinated) hating was the British, WAS awarded a knighthood TODAY a KBE (Knight Commander of the British Empire! - Thought being an Irish citizen you don't call him sir bono)

ANYWAY - i wouldnt suffer Hitler or Stalin. Id do what i could to be free.

Good friend of mine once told me a story of his grandfather who was corporal in Hitler’s army in Poland during IIWW. He said: “Nowdays we can take Warsaw again, but what for? Poles will never stop fighting. I saw what they are capable of. I rather go to Russian Front. Why they don’t want to be germanized?

Yeah. I guess if that's something people want to discuss. Doesn't seem like it though.

aha... well there you have it... its all about degrees of civilisation...

civilised men sit down for a couple of beers... pisz heads get lashed on wodka... is it better to be governed by civilised fellows who enjoy a beer or two or by a bunch of heathen pisz heads...?
