loads of crap as usuall.we speak up our minds and that's it.from my experience i know that muslims or blacks can be(and are!!!)more racist than everyone else.poles are saints compared to the ones mentioned above.example?
a muslim school in london used a book to teach muslim children which referred to christians as "pigs"and jewes as"monkies".
a tv reported asked a head teacher why do they not want to withdraw this racist book and she said that they ommit this chapter!do you know whats happend?EXACTLY...NOTHING.
there is something about big,heavily armed racist poles in scotland who attacked 3 harmless and defenceless drunken louts and their tame dogs.

Its a tough suject.theres alway's gonna be racism in some form or another.I had it when i lived in london. I was only a stupid paddy''what did i know'. Some Irish sre racist about the travelling community, hell even drug users are racist against each other. just because some use cocaine their better than Heroin abusers.
ETC, etc its never ending and we could go on forever. Its always gonna be like this all we can do is educate people but unfortunetly we cant change the world!

And in fact, the injustice could itself be one of the reasons for racism too.

Oh, crap, everytime someone gets offended they shout racist. You know, there are several very valid reasons to dislike someone on an individual lbasis. It's been in my experience that people who blame someone for being a racist, are in fact a total racist themselves. Kinda like when someone farts and blames the nearest person? I would classify Poland as central european, much like Germany, given that the country moved a few hundred Km east after the Polish Soviet War in 1919 and west after the 2nd World War.:)

Reason for singling out Poles is because they make up the vast majority of immigrants from the A10 countries.

I agree about what people have said about the racial double standards however.

I also think that most of the media coming out of the UK is completely biased garbage.

I should also clarify, in the many times I've been to Poland, I've rarely met a scumbag/troublemaker.

Among the many Polish immigrants, there are some great, decent people, but also some true borderline nazi/mafioso scum, much like any other culture or race.
It just so happens that there was such a large influx of Polish scum, that the decent Polish people were outnumbered in Ireland for a while.

They are however being forced out of the Polish communities over here by the good people as they will no longer tolerate them and saw the damage they did.

Any specific examples of this alleged numerous 'Polish scum' in Ireland? And is there any 'borderline nazi/mafioso' 'Irish scum' in Ireland too?

I can not legally go into detail on this subject with regard to your first question.
Suffice to say, members of my family are involved in the government, legal system and law enforcement, even down to translation.

Regarding your second question, yes organized crime in Ireland is a severe problem and is continuing to get worse, mostly based around drugs. This year we have had more murders than ever before.
There are few Nazis groups, neo-nazis are based to a minor degree in England, Poland & Italy and to a major degree in Russia.

There were several incidents where Polish guys tried to muscle in on Irish turf and got hammered. By and large however, Polish crime is on other Poles and grand theft auto to a minor degree (although there are a lot of muslims involved in this here especially around Dublin), so the Irish scum don't bat an eyelid once they don't mess with Irish and don't bring drugs.
If the Poles became involved in the drugs trade (which is gradually happening) there will be murders, as this is where the big money is. It is a similar situation with the Nigerians and Romany Gypsys in Ireland who have been here since 1995.

The difference is that these people are visibly different from Irish while Poles are not, so they can be easily discriminated against.

A similar situation exists with Lithuanians i.e. lithuanian on lithuanian crime.
In general, Lithuanians and Polish do not get on.


On a personal level where I am free to comment, in my role as a doorman, I can say that a disproportionately large amount of customers I have to eject from nightclubs are Polish men and in general, they will want to fight. I have never had trouble from Polish women.

Just to reiterate Puzzler, when I am speaking about Polish people here, it is in regard to the undesirable element in society (frequently ex-army, especially in my personal experience).

I would like to emphasise that there are a huge amount of desirable Polish people in Ireland also who work very hard and I am proud to call my friends including my partner and family in law .

I would just like to say don't be so scared as the Indians, Jews, Turks, Greeks and Chinese have very low crime rates. They are not responsable for the muggings or murders in the uk These groups are very successful and many or the small, medium and large businesses are owned by them also they have high rate of educational achivement and home ownership and the house that you polish people are probably
renting in owned by one of these groups. So next time you are on the road show some respect!

at the end of the day all of this is discriminatory, simply because you're putting the issue of violence and abuse in the context of people's differences i.e race.
fact of the matter is that, unfourtunately, there do exist people with a twisted enough world perspective to see need to propound voilence against anyone else, and often these twisted views also yield a racist view point. but there's no point in sitting here arguing that this race is more racist than another, we're all racists the moment we try to understand someone's action based on nothing but their race or country of origin.

I have nothing but good to say about Polish people that i have met both in Poland and here in Ireland. Obviously we need workers in this country when our own nationals cant be bothered working so why not employ Polish??? I employ 5 Polish and they are all good hard working decent people.
