is it the Polish way to just go offline without saying goodbye to the person you are talking with?

cuz i'm noticing that most of my friends are like that.

It's one of my biggest peeves. like do you just hang up on your friend while talking on the phone?

Good catch. Now that I think of it you're right - but it depends whom you talk too... :)

I don't think Poles are expeption. When I talk to American friends they just write "I have to go" and logoff without "warning"

Hahaha! Wow! People can be soooo generalistic! Just because I saw a few french men with untied shoe laces doesnt mean All Frenchmen Don't Tie their Laces. And just because I chatted to an american who was rather dim doesnt mean all americans are stupid. A persons actions dont determine their race, and their race doesnt determine their actions. I have a friend that hardly ever says goodbye to anyone he chats to online (and he's not Polish by the way). I hardly say goodbye either because I usually always leave in a rush. Online Chats are very impersonal anyways, its very different to a one-on-one discussion over the phone or in person. I dont beleive you can compare the two.
