Are there Poles in Virginia?

Hi Guys,

I'm 29, 100% pure Polish gal; live and work in Virginia..near Virginia Tech.
It would be great to know that there are more Poles than ..me in here :-)
So if you 'magically' ended up on the other side of the Ocean (still cannot figure out how/why), or you're Polish or love Poland, or would like to know/talk about my culture etc..
well, it'd like to hear about it/talk about it/write about it...you name it :-)))

there are Poles in Baltimore and other places in MD and PA but i have no idea about VA. I am sure there are some I just don't know about them.

yep, I don't know about them either :-(
I'm planning to go to Poland in August, but being there once a year..definitely
not enough :-(
On the other hand, I don't know if I would stay there anyway...most of my friends
are in GB or other place in Europe. I guess you do what you have to do, right?

The shooting? Well, made VT popular...I graduated a year before the tragedy and at that time my friends had no clue about its location etc...now everyone knows. Sad, but it was wonderful to see how it united people and their reaction full of compassion and solidarity just made you believe that there is still some hope for mankind...
I wish they could change the law, restrict access to weapons, do something to clean all that mess...

My great grand parents are from Poland and I visit every summer but I dont speak very much polish. I also live near Virginia Tech
