The Pakis have been part of the British Empire for centuries, and as far as history goes they did not form any fighting efforts towards defeating the Nazis what so ever. As i said in my previous post did we hand out free passes to foreign nationals who served in the RAF or any other regiment in WWII? The answer is no.

but,if you look into the history of the Italien campaign you will find more Indian troops than Polish troops,however,most of the Indian units served in the Far East...you know,that chunk of the war that no Polish units were involved in(part of the reason it gets old when people talk about "the Poles fought for Britain",if they did,where were they against the nippon empire?

sorry Z,but thats BS,wages havnt increased significantly in years,in fact,wages for the type of jobs most Poles and other immigrents start off in are actually much smaller now. Example,a warehouse worker in the late 90s was on about £7.50- £8.00 an hour,now the average wage is just over £6.00.

I have heard that lots of job agencies underpaid immigrants. Especially those that offer temp jobs. They deduct money for accomodation, transport etc...

So you think that agencies should offer the accomidation for free then ?? And why shouldnt they pay for the transport costs, every english person has to...

I agree with you. But some job agencies deduct to MUCH, so those people do not earn NMW. I do not mind job agencies, I do not mind when I need to pay for my travel and accommodation but agencies they should comply with NMW...

I have read somewhere that an average Polish salary in the UK is 1100 pounds per month, Poles in the UK tend to work long hours, that is why it is so high. It is a pity that many Poles do look for a better job and keep badly paid works... and sometimes work under NMW...

I know.........there's many others who feel like that too.

Do you really think this is a good salary in the UK? Assuming that you mean after tax and other deductions its still not so good. Try living in London and and see how far that would take you.
