Polglish - mixture of Polish and English

Myslem of starting a thread which is a mixture of Polish and English - Polglish.
This would give a szansa for learners of Pl to practice without having to be perfect all the time.

What do the other forum members think ?

Is there enough Polglish going on here already ?

I think that for me it would be an excellent idea. It certainly seems to work for French, mind you, the origins of French are a little different.

Pinglish is dobrze with me.

Something like that exists already and it is called Penglish. It is widely used by Polish emigrants to the USA. You can hear it in places like Jackowo, Chicago.

Typical of the second generation Poles living in the U.S. This example shows how awful it sounds and no I don’t think it's a good idea. Can you deduce what it means?

My Pl is very basic. This looks like something about how .........nah, I don't have a clue !

Would you really want to talk like this?

Zależy ile English and how much język Polish i jakie they're balanced.

You could completely jumble it up.
You could try using English laden with a heap of Polish grammar.
Or you could just use English with a few Polish words substituting English ones where it's easy to do so.

Finally, you could just have English with a little bit of swearing in Polish mingled in.

I think it's a crazy idea that might work.

I would limit each sentence to having a one word Polish equivalent, which can be placed anywhere in the text. Otherwise those that know nowt will have a bit of a problem.

Good advice Osioł. I rather hear “Kali jeść, Kali pić” then the extreme example above.
I’m not a purist, but at least you would be attempting to speak in Polish, and you have a perfect excuse for not being 100% all the time.

I'd rather leave the mixing to where it naturally happens. Polish has words that are strictly Polish and those that are taken from English. There are plenty of examples

It would be an improvement on where my Polish is just now, but I can understand how it would make native speakers cringe.

Spanglish exists so let's create Polglish, nice...Pinglish sounds weird to me - like pingwin :P

Another couple of ideas:

Read English words as if they are Polish, ie. using the Polish spelling conventions.
Read Polish words as if they are English, blah blah blah.
