What differences and/or similarities do you find between Polish and American people?

Polish people speak Polish :)
Most Poles are catholics.
They are less open than Americans, don't smile as much, keep to themselves, more serious about life, find a way to get to their goals

I find only differences, and they seem to be getting bigger and bigger. We really don't seem to have anything in common, perhaps with the exception of the fact that, most regrettably, some of our soldiers are also taking part in the genocidal and criminal occupation of Iraq.

Polish people don't drink on a daily basis and still are considered as 'drinkers' :-)

I think that Polish people are more straightforward/assertive than American people. Polish people won't smile in most of the cases if they don't like something/someone. Americans are 'better pretenders' :-)

- Actually, Americans drink a lot, and use incomparably more drugs (i.e. narcotics) than us.

- Well, for example, many Americans consider Polish people 'stupid' and inadequate, and we on our part...
