miserable people staring, virtualy no one speaking English?

May I please suggest you getting out of that country then? Poland doesn't need to change to that Nazi Czech Republic, and if you would know anything about Poland, then you would know Czechs are not well liked for how they treated the Germans during the war. And, it sure as hell doesn't need people like you.

I wish the Poles could take a note from their neighours and step up to the plate,

When it comes to skiing/snowboarding most Polish folks would probably agree.

I think you'll find that young Polish skiers couldn't give a toss about the war. Especially in the evening when they are drinking Czech beer.

Dont mention the war! I see you are a Pole Filios and I respect your patriotism. However Czech Republic is in my opion a better country than Poland for everything you see on the surface. I dont know about legal proceedings and other qualities of life my statement was merely an observation.

Hi Wroclaw. Have you been to any resorts in the Czech and my apologies if I ridiculed you a bit the other night, I was a little under the influence.

Hve to say though, Czech beer sucks - Polish is much more kindly to the pallet

I don't ski or snowboard. But I know plenty people who go to the Czech Republic rather than the Polish mountains. It's no problem for people from Wroclaw. They often bring back a lot of beer too.

Ahh Bubba I see your suspension has expired.

Yes, maybe it reminds me of LCL "Low Cost Lager" we used to buy it for £1.00 a pint 24/7 in the student bar around 1998. Get used to it after a while although the first couple slice through the palet like a razor blade.

I'm starting to see now the other face of England with creeps like you. You're certainly promoting a good image of the English in Poland.

I dont really give a flying fuk about that to be honest Im just saying that the Czech Republic is a pretty cool country and their best Ski Resort pissed all over Zakopane with mountains not higher than 1200 meters. It was a breath of fresh air visiting a country of the former Eastern block and experiencing such good services and facilities.

It seems not just this forum, but also Poland somehow attracts some psychopaths from the British Isles. The Poles are one of the few nations still friendly towards the British, but this may change soon.

And we too should head out of UK, en masse. That's what I've been telling Poles I meet during my travels in UK, and that's what I'll keep on repeating.

To be honest I liked Poland when I came here the first few times I even liked it here when I decied to come here and live. My wife was inconsolable when she came back here with me, she could not beleive she came back to live in the coutry which she left.

I was like dont worry ever6ything will be fine. I have an incredible amount of resiliance and staying power, but now I think its time to turn in the towel and say OK I made a mistake.

I was always under the impression that Poles who had immigrated abroad will come back to their homeland one day to settle, I believe from various reports that that is so far from the truth.

Well, Wroclaw boy, if I were as boorish and callous as yourself, I could say tons of nasty things about your own country - about its, let's us call them gently, shortcomings. I choose not to do that, but focus on positive things instead. And, based on my extensive travels in UK, I can tell you plainly: you have no real reason whatsoever to put down my country and puff yourself with pride about your own country.

Not sure disliking Poland makes somebody a psychopath...Poland is quite different from the UK , and of course its going to be something that some people just can,t adjust to....As an Englishman living in Poland i find the differences a pleasant change from the UK...I am kinda hoping Poland does not get like the UK , though i fear its bound to happen someday...Hopefully i will be long dead by then....i think its a bit harsh to label somebody a nutter just because they don,t like Poland...Many of my Polish friends hated the UK , but it doesen,t stop them being my friends..they were never rude about my country , but they simply didn,t like it , and as soon as they had made some money there they were on the first plane back home....It can be terrible to be a long way from home , and hate the place you find yourself in , but it doesn,t mean you are a bad person...I am lucky , i like it here in Polska.....

we are getting there mate.at least we haven't got millions of muslims digging holes under our country.you have more problems to worry about than we do.

On the baby issue my Polish wife has made it clear she will never give birth in Poland and Im beginning to understand. [/quote]

she has probably never been in the hospital in the uk or is out of her mind.having been a first aider for the last 2 years i have seen things which only probably robert's mugabe zimbabwe would be proud of.no x rays on swollen limbs.a boy collapses in the hospital after being sent home with fractured cheek bone and skull.waiting time to see a nurse not a doctor is at least 2 weeks.the only remedy from headache to cancer is ibuprofen and paracetamol.my wife's work mate misscaried twice and still have been refused a scan.something which in poland is done on the first visit.don't forget about dirty wards.probably more people die from MRSA than other ilnesses.
yeah i know
it's obviously problems caused by poles in the uk because these miserable,only-polish-speaking bastards cause all the worst things in the uk.kick them out

Just a creep from abroad puffing himself up with hubris amidst poor people. Can one sink morally lower than that?

Hi All, ive just arrived back in Poland from my snowboarding holiday in the Czech Republic and I have to say i was impressed with the resort of Spinderluv Mlyn and the Czechs in general. I wish the Poles could take a note from their neighours and step up to the plate, I instantly noticed the change from Czech to Poland as soon as i crossed the border i.e miserable people staring, virtualy no one speaking English, poor towns, bad roads. I havent been out of Poland for 6 months and the last time was to Vegas so i didn't really think of making a comparison but having just come from a neighbouring country I am really beginning to wonder what the hell am I doing here!!

Generally all the lands that use to be under the German occupation prior to WWI are now better off than those that were part of the Russian empire. While the Germans where "investing" in their conquered lands, which were suppose to be their new lebensraum, the Russians where just sponging and draining their occupied lands. Compare western and eastern part of Poland and you will see what I mean. Plus, while the struggle for the poles in the Russian occupied lands was a military one, the struggle to survive for the Poles on German occupied territories for the most part was more of a economical one. In order not to be bought off the land by the German settlers Poles were organizing themselves, establishing their own banks, businesses, infrastructure, etc.. Their fruits of labor are basically still visible.

Oh but I’m slowly drifting away from my original point, which is:

Czechs “inherited” a better infrastructure than the Poles after both countries got their independence back. Another problem for Poland was to establish back an economical connection between it’s three parts that for over 123 years were separate, something that the Czechs didn’t need to worry about. This process was then brutally stopped after only 20 years by the WWII, the outcome of which was definitely more tragic for Poland than for the Czech republic. And then came the commie times, blah blah blah…

Having said that I do think that we have a lot to learn from the Czechs and that we can’t explain everything by the war etc.. Czech republic is a great place and I agree that the people are amazing (they have a funny accent though ;) ). If living in Poland is so bad for you why not leave than? For Czech republic for example. It will save you from a stomach ulcer and you won’t spoil my good mood. It’s an all win situation. :)

Unfortunately my wife has experienced both hospital systems UK and Polish and apart from the Uk system being free and with no need to bribe doctors there was no comparison between which was superior. Your arguments pick on social issues in the UK of which any liberal democracy are terget for I wish i could say the same for Poland.

In short Rafik I find your arguments absolutely ridiculous and ungrounded based on common facts which we can all quote. Give me something with a bit of spice and come back later.

I lived the first 25 years of my life in Poland, and left during the communist rule. I have been going back and forth from Poland and Greece ever since. I am working on contract work with relatives near Athens. I am planning to go back for good in 2 years. And slime, if you dare call me out on this, you are even more stupid then I first thought. You have no respect for the country, I see that, except for your wife who probably sees you nothing more than $$$. Please do us all a favour, and spare your gloating of your blood stained country. I am proud to be from a country who did not rely on blood and sweat of slaves.

You never colonised anything even near Eastern Europe, slime. If you had even tried in your so called "Slave Golden Age" in the 17th century, you would have been cut down by our hussars and put an end to your blood trafficking. The only people you colonised were spear throwing, poor tribes in Africa, India, and North America. I don't quite understand what you meant by sivalised? Civilized? If thats what you meant, then I disagree. None of those poor nations were lucky to be colonised by un-religious, money hungry creeps like you. Why dont you do yourself a favour and read up a bit more on the subject?
As for your wife, I wonder, would she be angry by you stating this on Polish Forums? If she wouldn't, then she can't be taken as a true Pole, and is just as slimish in nature as yourself. You are well suited.
