Hi,
I'm polish citizen living in London for 6years (without a permanent residency).I am about to marry a Brazilian citizen in his home country whose entry to the UK had once bee refused on arriving at the airport. Will there be any problems for my fiance to enter Britain after we've got married? Or will he be having to live in Poland for sometime before being able to move to London?

Thanks for any reply!

i dont know for sure, but if you are not a British citizen then I dont think that being married to you will entitle him to any rights whatsoever to enter and remain in the UK, particularly as you say that you dont have permanent residency.. although I dont know what that means because since you are now in the EU, you have the right to remain. Why was he refused entry before? I hope you are getting married for love and not for him to get into Britain, cos if thats the case then I would think again.

Better check that he will be able to live in Poland too......he'll need a visa to stay there for any length of time, I would assume.....same as the UK. Also it would be interesting to know why he was turned away, once he had arrived. I guess in the UK, like in the USA, just because you have a Visa, it does not guarantee entry into the country (which is sth I just don't understand).

There (brazilians) mostly always turned down at the airport for no reason, just because the people in the airport always supect they are going to stay over their time limit. it really isnt fair, because they have paid hundreds of pounds on the flight just to be sent back home!
