Polish clothing for school project USA - need some ideas

Hi, I have 3 boys who are doing a school project on Poland. As part of their project they must dress like 12 year olds in Poland would dress. We need some ideas that would make it possible to put together a costume for each of the boys. We need some ideas that would be simple if possible.

Any internet references, pictures, etc would be extremely helpful.

Are you looking for modern dress or for costume dress which looks like the dress of the past? i.e. Folklore dress?
