Polish dates (birthday numbers)

So when I went to Poland I realized that saying a date in Polish requires a lot more syllables in English....although I can never remember how it works....like how would you say 'I was born August 15th, 1990'...I seem to recall the genitive case being in there somewhere, any tips on remembering dates?
