Polish Degrees for a social care work in the UK

Hello, can anyone tell me if a Polish psychology degree would be valid for social care work etc in the UK and Ireland? I have a friend who is interested in moving to Northern Ireland.

short answer, NO. most eastern degrees are not recognised

Please check with EU websites or your university. BECAUSE all EU institutions have no GRADED degrees in each country. In ireland an 'ordinary degree' is level 8 i think, honours fegree is level 9 i think. something like that.

Also, The degree you have will help you get 'exemptions' in Irish & UK colleges to get a 'shorter' time to get their versions

Even when the degree is translated by sworn translator?

The degree that my friend has is a magisters degree though, would that count?
