im glad that a polish company has won recognition of its innovative designs and i agree that there are many companies in poland designing and producing products worthy of recognition

i am a little suprised however that they couldnt find anything more worthy than some interstingly designed carpets and rugs...

I echo the sentiments of BW. The Poles can be much more creative than that, it doesn't take such a smart cookie to design the above

It is not first award for Polish designers, this time designers of carpets have won.

however, the yellow carpet looks similar to the doilies my great aunt used to serve cakes on at high tea

thats probably because you are polish and take offence easily but let me assure you that my great aunt's cakes were delicious ;-)

i like the EU design - so much more worthy of respect than the british attempt at an olympic logo

I havent said that I feel offended ;-) lets leave it :) I think that design will be (or is) strong Polands point.
