What is the drinking age and driving age in Poland? I have gotten many answers to these questions. Can some one tell me for sure?

Poles can hold their liquor as opposed to some others.

I have heard that you must be 18 to buy alcohol but you can be any age to drink it. Ages are the same in Russia but US is so confusing.
16 to drive and 21 to drink but you are adult age at 18?

It depends where...
In smaller towns or villages they let you buy liquor as a teen or even child if you tell them that its for a parent (and they know you so they'll sell it to you).

I think it's being changed, or is changed already. Penalties for selling an alcohol to a minor can be very painful...

Isn't that exactly as in the States, with the age diff?
You can buy when you 21, but you can drink it any age.

As far as I am concerned, 18 yo to legally buy and drink is a law in every single country in Europe, also Australia.

not in the US.. parents get busted all the time for allowing their children and their friends to drink under their supervision. some laws here in the US are just freaking moronic.
