I'm working in U.K. and I need a licence to drive in the U.K. can anyone help ?

Well, the way we do things in the UK is as follows :-

1. Get provisional licence.
2. Get driving lessons and study for written test.
3. Pass both and you will be issued with a UK Licence.

That's how we do things in the UK, anything else is illegal and criminal and I'm sure PF does not allow anything other than legal posts on this forum !!

I'm having a hard time passing my driving exam in UK. Im thinking of obtaining a driver's license in Poland and it will be valid in UK anyway. What do you think guys?

Everybody knows it is very strict in UK. In Poland there are people who are willing to help if the price is right.

If you buy a fake license the chances are it won't pass muster (ie bad quality and how would you know?)...meaning the first time you show it to the Police you will go to jail.

Criminals that would sell you this sort of thing are not trustworthy and won't be the ones in trouble when you get caught.

Hej, i am 16 and I have a U.S. drivers license...i go to poland every year for the summer, and i want to know if my license is valid there even though the driving age is 18.

adamek: if the legal drinking age in Poland is (i'm not sure if there is one actually lol) let's say 18, does that mean an 18 year old Pole can legally drink in the US?

Hi, I'm very much in need of an EU valid driving license, kind of quickly, but I dont have a great deal of money. I have looked into it, & it seems easiest in Poland, but how long does anyone think it would take me to do it, if I started tomorrow. I'd obviously travel over there, but is there a long wait like in the UK? Whats it likely to cost? I dont have any license, but I can drive.
Any information anyone can give me would be great.
