Polish Food Menu for a School Project!

I'm compiling a menu for a school project on Polish food.
I've been looking for a while now, and can't really find anything that I can put on it.
I was wondering if someone here could give me any ideas on things I could include in my menu!

If you can, many thanks.
<3 Biddy.

Rosół z kury. - chicken boulion
Schabowy z kapustą i ziemniakami. - pork chop with boiled cabbage and mashed potatoes
Sernik - good old cheesecake for dessert

And don'f forget too keep a bottle of vodka on the table at all times But I wouldn't put that in the menu for a school project.

In general you can make it simple (the menu) by forming it like
1. soup
2. main dish
3. dessert

unless it's Cristmas dinner, then:
soup
main dish no 1
...
main dish no. 124
a nap
main dish no. 125
and so on.
...
6 months diet

Here are some real life menus from Polish restaurants in NYC. That should give you some ideas.
menupages.com/restaurants.asp?areaid=0&cuisineid=74&neighborhoodId=0

Click on a restuarant's name and you will see an option to see their menu.

Good luck with your project.

Biddy.. Are you looking for polish names or just the food name ?

You can get a fair overview here en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polish_cuisine

Just names of food, really, and a little description of what they are, if I really want some Brownie points on my menu.

Thanks for all the help, guys!

I like you already.

Hate pre-cooked foods. I love to eat my food fresh and not let it go to waste in the freezer. Everyone should eat like this. Buy what you need for that day and eat it. Not buy a ton of crap that you might never eat.

Strawberries are the greatest things to happen to Earth. I love them, and I pick them at my grandmother's house all the time. Can't get enough of them.

Me and my dad went to pick strawberries once. You pick them then you pay for them. Well, we were eating every other one and later that day we kept flooding the toilet.....

Really? Never happens to me. I live not 5 minutes from like 10 huge strawberry farms. I plan on working on one of them (giving the people baskets and they pay me, thats just the one thing I know I'll do, other jobs are included). I'll be able to ride my bike down there so it would take about 30 minutes, and then the way back is all up hill so I can get some training for soccer.

Plus I get all the strawberries I can carry home at the end of the week. Hehe

Whats that food called, its like a yogurt, smashed strawberries with lots of sugar and some sour cream. My mother and I make it all the time. It has to be the best thing in the world for a hot summer day. Especially after chilling in the refrigerator.

I don't know what it's called but I used to make that in Poland with my friends after we went picking blackberries.

Hmm...so it tastes good with those too? I should try some. Maybe make a concoction of fruit.
