polish food in UK Tesco's

what polish food is available in Tesco's in the UK and what sort of prices are they priced at?
We do in Doncaster have independant stores located all in a 5mins walk of each other that stocks polish food .. but just wondered about tesco's?

i shop wherever is conveinant to be honest plus i am a soon to be employee of tesco's near where i live but as its a smaller store doesnt stock any polish products like the larger stores near town

A Polish friend compared the way tesco runs it's company to the communism that he experienced in Poland. Thats is all I will say! Just remember... you don't have a name, you are just a number! But it pays the bills.

Yeah, Tesco is another Walmart. You can buy everything clothes, food, electronics, books, etc. Always crowded when I was in there.

you will find that ASDA in the UK is part owned by WALMART not TESCO's

but its a supermarket none the less!

and now there are Super Walmarts which have groceries and stores within the store. Before it was just plain Walmart as if that wasn't big enough.

Soon there will be Super Duper Walmarts. They will sell furniture, cars and asian babies.

All at a discounted price might i add, specials all week long, you don't want a baby going off in the pie warmer now do you.

We’ve got two Tesco’s in my town in Poland. They even have opened their private bus line from city center to both stores.

They're getting unhealthily big IMHO. In the UK they are the largest property company in terms of the value of their portfolio and they are a B****y supermarket chain.

My many apologies. I was just trying to highlight that its not a GOOD job. I work for them, as well as 250,000 others, and many of us think exactly the same. The point I made was simply a warning, not a wider political comparison. SORRY.

Tesco has a lot of fingers in many pie's,(Nie pies, but much funnier) 25% stake in walmart's chasing company for their investment and technology for their home delivery knowledge, and a 50% stake in a major worldwide electronic company. 100% sure there is a lot of other stuff that I don't have any knowledge of! They are bigger than we even know or disclose to the public. I may sound like a way out lefty, but work for them for 7 years, with open eyes and you will see.

But yes, you have to pay your own bills firstly!

in response to the original question (well kind of) Sainsburys has recently developed a range of Polish foods, similar to those found in local shops and its cheaper than the local Polish shops in my area. I have heard that Tesco either already has or is planning to do the same, but I dont personally use Tesco so havent seen it for myself and dont know if its ready yet. Heinz is currently developing a Polish range too, but under a different name.

What about Waitrose?

I thought Heinz was the owner of Pudliszki.???
