100% genuine respect for foreigners struggling to learn Polish! I really admire those people and appreciate their effort. I wouldn never be able to learn Polish if it wasn't my mother tongue; cases must be a real nightmare (they've always been my curse, eventhough I'm a linguist....).

I feel quite pathetic, I have a few words under my belt, but I'm struggling something terrible (using a c.d. and book), French is so much easier but I like a challenge, unfortuately I dont know any Polish people so I think it's going to be hard going.....

I think that we appreciate that foreigners learn our language... but also Poland is becoming more multicultural and its not as unusual to hear someone foreign speaking polish.

Thank you for appreciating us. Positive feedback always helps. I've learned what I call Polish in about 5 months.

I don't know every single word in the Polish vocabulary, and I doubt the Polish know every single word themselves. Also, there are some words I can write, but they are just too funny for me to pronounce properly.

I speak Polish like a little child, but you guys understand me and I'm confident my girlfriend will teach me perfection..

Things you do for love. Crazy.

Ja jestem anglikiem i mieszkam w Surrey pod Londynem. Zawsze mozna kupic ksiazke i studiowac jezyk polski (nawet lepiej bedzie z kasetami). Ja mam kilka takich ksiazek i teraz umiem mowic i pisac po polsku. Tylko jedno-szkoda, ze nie moge spedzac duzo czasu w Polsce albo w pracy albo w szkole bo na pewno wtedy ja mowilbym tyle razy lepiej po polsku. I nie zgadzam sie, na pewno francuzki jest trudniejszy (przeczytalem na tej stronie jak ktos porownial francuski z polskim) . Czesc Michael w Guildford.
