Brawurst are you accusing that 6 million Jews were killed by Poles not Germans ?
If thats your point then you are totally lost here...

No I didn't you idiot!

Germans did much to recognize, to apologize, to pay and to remember the Holocaust!

It's the Poles who are still deep in denial about THEIR shameful past!

I didn't say that you live in Danzig...but you seem to think that Germans were generally bad to Poles and that's why the flew.
No Maty...most of them didn't go voluntarily...Poles acted against their german neighbours exactly like they did with their jewish neighbors.
Expelling them, stealing their belongings! Just because they could!

That's definitely one of the reasons. The second one was that they feared what will happen when the Red Army arrives. Even your government was encouraging people to evacuate from those areas before the Russians come. That's a fact.

PS: My statistics come from 1938 - 91% Germans, 8% Poles. :)

Crap....my family stems from a number of little villages around Breslau...only Germans...hardly polish neighbours to be bad to...

But it's always the Germans faults, isn't it? Or the Russians...or the communists....or the Jews themselves...

See a pattern here?

For Christ sake, the next thing you will say here is that we actually started that damn war! What really pisses me off with all you Erika Stenbach fans is that you treat the German exodus after the war as if it hadn't anything to do with the whole war itself? But what ever you will say and do you won't change the fact that it had a lot to do with it! Attack of your country on mine was the reason your family no longer lives near Wroc³aw and not the other way around. You were the aggressors, not us, you lost the war and were forced to face the consequences. If the poles where just as bas as you claim it to be, than they would round the rest of remaining Germans up, and not expel them, but send them to Auschwitz for the fate their deserved. I think that Poles had the God damn right to have their revenge on you, and that your people’s exodus was the liniest punishment I could think of.

edit-
And I still stand correct that the vast majority of Germans run away from fear rather than were expelled.

Revenge! Ha

An excuse for stealing, murdering and robbery.

And Jews killed Christ...that was their crime Poles did revenge!

Poor, inncoent Poles...so self-righteous...all bad is always someone else's fault.
And if they get killed...their fault too..

God I can't say how you people disgust me!

You really have still a long way to go...till then just know that the majority of Europeans isn't so deluded like you do to yourself. They know about your ugly face you try to hide so hard.
And yes, Jews say again and again the Poles were much worse than Germans!

Your postings just seem to be all about how bad the Polish were to both Germans and Jewish as if the Polish were the worst anti-Semites.

How is it that the largest number of people that received "Yad Vashem"-recognition for actions of defending the Jewish against Hitler are coming from Poland.

I'm about to leave for a Memorial Day back yard BBQ. I will make sure that the bratwurst and polish sausage I'm taking with me are put next to each other on the grill so they can get bbq'd together - united at last :)

In the mean time, Matyjasz, TheKruk and other debaters, there is a polish proverb about people like BBoy "tak sie z nim nagadasz jak ze smarkatym najesz". Loosely translated "you can have a meaningful conversation with him like you can have a satisfying meal with a distraught child"...

"...How can you escape when the Poles were worse than the Germans? And the Germans were worse than the Poles. There was nowhere to hide. The Jews had no friends. Some people would hide by a Pole, and as long as they had money they would pay him off. Then, when the Pole got tired of them, he would kill the Jews and take the rest of the money, and everything else.

.... For a kilo of sugar (that the Germans promised them), they would drag a whole family to the Germans to be sent to the concentration camps!..."

PS: Just look at the borders....Poland stole lot's of german lands! Mighty successful the war, wasn't it?

First of all, you lost me. Why did you brought that up is beyond me. Secondly, stole? I don't remember Poles having anything to say about the redrawing of the boundaries after the WWII. You should address your complains about the land losses to Roosevelt, Stalin and Churchill.(although the last one also didn’t had much to say about it :) ). And Finally, those lands were once polish and lets leave it that way. :)

Germans did much to recognize, to apologize, to pay and to remember

Then, pay me last 15 years, pay that to Serbs and to all Yugoslavs.

Germany recognized independance of Croatia and Bosnia (and push complete West in that adventure- which was accepted as chance for damiging the Russian interests, when Russia was weak) before political dialogue was finished about peacefull disolution of Yugoslavia. Then, Civil War started because suddenly federal Yugoslav army was considered as enemy on territores (absolute lunacy) of those republics (no matter that still was full with Croats, Macedonians, Bosnian Muslims, etc in her ranks) and was atacked.

One day, Germany will pay that, too.

One day Slavs maybe disolute German state same way how Germany pushed Yugoslavia in bloody Civil War. Then will be peace in Europe, for sure.

"....Straight after the war we were brought to Czechoslovakia. Afterwards, we were brought to Poland. But Poland was very bad, ... with the Poles. Even the girls who came back from the concentration camps, they used to kill.... in the night ... The Polish Government police were all bandits and robbers... they killed the girls and everybody. I knew a girl from my town that had survived the war and she was killed when she came back.

We had left a fortune by one Polish workman, a basement full of men's shoes. And when I came back from the concentration camp, and I was in his place, I said to him "give me at least one pair of shoes for myself". And he lied to me and said, "I cannot give you anything, because the Germans took everything". And I said to him "If the Germans took everything, why didn't they take you too?"

When we saw how bad it was in Poland, people started talking about going back to Germany where we could find a little peace, since the American UNRWA would supply us with food and everything, so we went there. And my husband was there too, and that's where we met. ..."

Yeah...dream on...Germans are shaking in their boots!

You see what we did with Yugoslavia...and nobody dared to defy us!
We rule Europe! :)

PS: Insofar as Germany is concerned there is already peace in Europe...and we will get our land back peacefully too....and the Poles will say thank you for the millions coming from Germany...not knowing that it's an investment in german lands!

Yes BBoy, you saw us through. Germans invaded Poland in order to protect Jews from poles. They even gone through all the trouble and build them camps to increase their safety. Germans were all good, just like in that movie Schindler’s list, and Poles were the bad ones. LOL :)

But you vaunt your german heritage even though in the last century I don't recall Germany ever winning a war.

A very valid point Kruk. Come to think of it, what was the last war Germans actually won? :)
